Double the Bandwidth, Double the Fun! 
Your bandwidth has been doubled! Throughout August, we doubled all our shared hosting clients' bandwidth allocations. Hosting clients who had already been paying for additional bandwidth received twice the bandwidth for the same amount of money. We hope that this extra breathing room will give you and your business the power to grow! Keep an eye out for more new additions next month!! We're not sitting around twiddling thumbs and we know you aren't either. Be on the lookout for something new from us each month! Cage Match: Exchange vs. Kerio 
You have heard us talk about our Hosted Exchange services for over a year now. We've had hundreds of customers enjoying oursourcing their Exchange management nighmares, but can we do better? Many of our customers have expressed interest in Kerio Mail Server for some time now. Well, it's time for us to take their interest seriously and start evaluating this as an email option for our beloved customers. Here's what we need from you: if you're interested in either managed Exchange or Kerio, please take 2 minutes and fill out our brief survey. This information will help us know if there is enough interest in a hosted Kerio Email service, how it should be priced, and what kind of packages to offer. Live Oak Hosting has joined the Twitterverse. You can check out our feed by visiting us at Twitter using @liveoakhosting. What is Twitter? In short, Twitter is a micro-blog: it is similar to a blog, but you only get 140 characters per post. It makes for a great way to send out little snippets of information and share them with your friends, colleagues, and customers! We use it to post quick updates on server maintenance, new services, as well as random offers and discounts. In fact, there's one there right now - but JUST ONE. First person to find it - gets it! Not sure how to get started with Twitter or wonder if there is "anything good to see?" Check out search.twitter.com and type in a random topic. You'll see what people are talking about RIGHT NOW on the web. It is amazing what you can uncover. 
Yep, that's right. Another little acorn joined the Live Oak family. On August 5th, Riley Meadows joined the Live Oak team as Chief Inspirational Officer. She joins our existing motivational crew of kiddos that send their parents off to the Live Oak office each morning filled with gusto and enthusiasm to do great things for our customers. As most of our customers know, Live Oak uses world-class Ironport anti-spam appliances to provide our customers a premium, spam-free experience. Occassionally a message or two will get through the gauntlet of tests and make it into your inbox. What should you do with these messages? Send them to spam@liveoakhosting.com as soon as they arrive. These messages are reviewed by a real human at the Ironport Threat Operations Center and then used to optimize the filtering system that analyzes spam. If you send something in to more than 3 times and it is still getting blocked, please contact Live Oak Support and let us know. Oh, and if you're not protecting your inbox with the Ironport and want to take it for a free, 30-day spin around the block, just let us know. |
